At Novotel Perth Langley, we believe travel can be a force for positive change. As part of Accor, we are committed to more sustainable hospitality and to supporting the local businesses, organisations and communities that make Perth special.

Our sustainability initiatives include working with NABERS, Buy West Eat Best and Containers for Change, supporting responsible energy use, local sourcing and recycling. We have also reduced single-use plastics across the guest experience, including removing single-use water bottles and providing filtered water stations.

We encourage our guests to reuse, recycle and make mindful choices during their stay to help reduce waste and energy consumption. Through Accor’s Net-Zero Climate Ambition and Novotel’s partnership with WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), we continue to support efforts to protect our planet and its resources for future generations.

Our Environmental Commitments, Verified

Novotel Perth Langley is certified under the Ecotourism Australia Sustainable Tourism Certification programme, independently audited against national standards covering energy, water, waste management and community impact.

Energy & water performance

Novotel Perth Langley holds a 4.5 Star NABERS Energy rating. NABERS (the National Australian Built Environment Rating System) is a government-backed programme that independently measures a building’s energy efficiency, water usage, waste management and indoor environment quality.

Local & responsible sourcing

Sen5es Restaurant and Wine Bar is a registered member of the Western Australian Government’s Buy West Eat Best programme. More than 70% of the menu is made using Western Australian–grown or produced ingredients.

Waste reduction

Novotel Perth Langley participates in Containers for Change, Western Australia’s container deposit scheme, recycling eligible containers on-site and donating funds raised to local WA charities and community groups. Single-use plastic water bottles have been removed from guest-facing areas and replaced with filtered water refill stations throughout the hotel.

Novotel Perth Langley holds Quality Tourism Accreditation, awarded under the Australian Tourism Industry Council’s national accreditation programme.
